Itinerary

The capital of Ontario has the energy and buzz that you would expect from Canada’s largest city. Choose to spend your free day exploring the multi-cultural neighbourhoods, visit the Hockey Hall of Fame, Royal Ontario Museum or head to The Top at the CN Tower where, at 1,465 ft, you can feel the Tower sway in the wind!

Distance: 193km (120miles)

Collect your RV and depart southbound along Lake Ontario’s shoreline to the iconic Niagara Falls for two nights. It is possible to see the Falls from every way imaginable: take a helicopter flight for an aerial view, get up close by boat, zipline or walk behind the falls (and be prepared to get wet)!

Drive onto the charming town of Niagara-on-the-Lake for a relaxing wander around boutique shops, galleries and dining at a farm-to-table restaurant. With over 100 wineries on the Niagara Peninsula, there will be plenty of opportunities to sample the local produce and the signature Icewine.

Distance: 247km (154miles)

Today, head to The Blue Mountains, located on Georgian Bay’s southern shores and the Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.

Take time to join Ontario’s Apple Pie Trail, a self-guided tour offering hiking paths, charming villages and a chance to try all things apple-related, from cider to pies.

Distance: 183km (114miles)

Hugging the shores of the world’s largest freshwater archipelago, known as the 30,000 Islands, Parry Sound is in an area of beautiful beaches, provincial parks and many hiking trails.

In summer, Downtown Parry Sound’s waterfront comes alive with events and live music against a beautiful bay backdrop. Discover the town’s rich arts and heritage at the Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts and the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame.

Distance: 146km (90miles)

As one of the largest parks, its diversity offers something for everyone. There are a wide range of biking trails to see the forests and lakes from leisurely friendly routes to more challenging mountain biking trails.

With thousands of lakes to discover, Algonquin Provincial Park is a paradise for exploring the water, whether swimming, trout fishing or following one of the many canoe routes. On land, a variety of hiking trails wind along the shoreline or climb to scenic lookout points, offering wonderful views across the park.

Distance: 276km (172miles)

Travel eastwards to Canada’s federal capital. Choose to travel via Bonnechere Caves and join a guided tour to visit the underground passageways.

Ottawa is a walkable city with many cultural sites and museums to see. Stroll along the city’s Rideau Canal UNESCO World Heritage Site and through the historic ByWard Market, which is always bustling with its farmers' market and cafés.

Distance: 230km (142miles)

Continue along Route 148, which affords views as you cross the Ottawa River, leaving Ontario and entering the province of Quebec. Spend your final night in a peaceful setting located within half an hour from Montreal.

For Formula One and NASCAR fans, the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve is easily accessible via the metro line.

Distance: 20km (13miles)

As the final stop on your tour, Montréal offers a spectacular shift from Canada’s vast wilderness to the vibrant pulse of a world-class cultural hub. Whether you are strolling the historic streets or indulging in the city's legendary culinary scene, Montréal guarantees a memorable finish to your journey.

Wander past the stunning Notre-Dame Basilica, browse local artisan boutiques, and relax at a Parisian-style café along the cobblestone lanes of the Old Port. For a final breathtaking perspective, take a gentle walk up Mount Royal to look back over the city centre. The Kondiaronk lookout provides sweeping, photo-worthy views of the downtown skyline and the St. Lawrence River.

The morning will be free for a last bit of shopping or sightseeing before your private transfer to the airport for an overnight flight home.
