Wake up in the Blue
Mountains and have breakfast with wild kangaroos on the edge of the
wilderness. Travel by 4wd through hidden valleys accessing a remote
part of the World Heritage area with a qualified ecological
guide.
Fresh locally made scones and pastries with tea or coffee amongst the wildlife with a back drop of towering escarpments enhances your personal experience. You can learn all about the area and the ecology and see something only locals get to see. Wild birds, kangaroos and occasionally snakes, lizards, and eagles.
Available on these holidays:The tour will either be
in the Valley of the Waters Walk or Grand Canyon Walk, depending on
the conditions of the day. Commence a bush walk through the Blue
Mountains World Heritage area, giving access to waterfalls, lush
rainforests of the Kedumba Valley, Eucalyptus forest, deep gorges and
canyons, amazing sandstone escarpments 300 metres high and valleys
800 metres deep. The two 400 metre multi pitch waterfalls of
Wentworth Falls are spectacular for photographers and bird watchers.
A picnic lunch is provided. Tour concludes at approximately 2.00pm,
at which time hotel drop offs in the Blue Mountains will
commence.
Note: Medium grade fitness is required to complete
up to 6 kilometre wilderness experience with steep sandstone steps,
winding trails, superb eucalypt forest, some mud, waterfalls and
wilderness views.

Descend into a lush rainforest with multiple pitch waterfalls and trek the Federal or Dardanels Pass below the Three Sisters. This medium to hard fitness walk can be adjusted to suit your needs with either a 1000 step or 1400 step staircase descent and ascent both offer amazing views of the Valley.
The fully qualified Guide will be able to tell you about the plants and animals that inhabit this National Park. The diversity of plants and birds are astounding. It is a bird watchers paradise and with your qualified ecological guide your understanding of the fauna and flora becomes a learning pathway to the reasons we are one of the most unique World Heritage National Parks in Australia. It is one of the classic walks in this World Heritage Area.
