Denver is the capital of Colorado and dates back to the Old West era. Larimer Square is the city’s oldest block and features landmark 19th-century buildings. There’s a good choice of museums to visit as well as the mansion of famed Titanic survivor Molly Brown. Denver is also the jumping-off point for the nearby Rocky Mountains.
