Canada has a range of options for you to choose from when it comes to camping. You might want to choose one particular option or mix and match to suit you.
Holiday Parks & Campgrounds
There are a huge number of camping grounds available in Canada with various standards. The majority of the state-owned camping grounds are generously proportioned and the sites are well spread out and normally with their own picnic table. The bathrooms and toilets are basic but usually well attended to. For a motorhome you can expect to pay CA$35 - CA$45 per night.
Another option is private camping grounds which are often more luxurious and in addition to the normal toilet and shower blocks, they often offer recreation rooms, shops, a swimming pool and washing machines. They also have the 'full hook-up' spots with fresh water, electricity, and waste water connections. Here you can expect to pay between CA$45 - CA$125 per night.

As a minimum we recommend you pre-book at least your first night in advance as this will give you peace of mind as to where you are going. Most Canadians travel to campgrounds over weekends and bank holidays so we strongly recommend pre-booking your campgrounds in advance during these periods and during peak times.
When booking your campgrounds, we recommend booking a pull through site as this will allow you to drive in one end and pull out the other when you leave.
Full 'Hook Ups' allows you to connect to Mains water, Mains Electricity (powers the roof air conditioner and plug sockets) and waste.
Please be aware that campgrounds in more rural areas may not have all amenities.
