How many years have you worked in the travel industry?

Following a career spanning almost 30 years in the travel industry, both in the UK & Australasia, I have recently returned to New Zealand. Having travelled extensively throughout the UK & Europe, I am passionate about the ability for travel to broaden the mind by exploring new cultures and experiences.

Having also travelled to Canada, the USA, South Africa, Asia & the Pacific, I can provide in-depth knowledge to help you create an authentic and truly memorable holiday.

Favourite destinations?

I am fortunate to live in arguably one of the most beautiful regions of New Zealand, Nelson Tasman. But my heart is also firmly entrenched in the breath taking countryside, culture & mountains of France. The food, wine & picturesque villages create a magical joie de vivre which I have been fortunate to enjoy on many special holidays there.

The vast wilderness and spectacular states and territories of Australia also offer a huge journey of discovery which always surprise & delight. There is always something new to discover despite many visits over the years.

Where's next on your bucket list?

I would love to return to Canada & explore Vancouver, ski at Whistler & drive the iconic Sea to Sky Highway. The mountains are calling!

How many years have you worked in the travel industry?

I’ve been lucky to have enjoyed a career in the travel industry that has spanned over 35 years.

In that time, I have had the pleasure of working for a number of great travel companies in the UK, New Zealand & Australia that have specialised in holidays to New Zealand, Australia, the South Pacific, USA & Canada.

Favourite destinations?

I guess I have been very fortunate to have experienced a lot of different holiday destinations in my lifetime, so this is a difficult question for me as I have had great experiences in nearly everywhere that I have travelled.

But if I had to choose, the stand-out holidays for me have been in France, Venice & Koh Samui.

Where's next on your bucket list?

I’ve yet to visit the Maldives so that is definitely on my bucket list.

Top destinations? My ultimate destination has to be Greece, I have travelled to many of the islands over the years, plus the mainland, but my absolute favourite is the island of Rhodes. I love the atmosphere there with beautiful beaches, lots of lovely restaurants and of course the beaming sunshine!

I have also been fortunate enough to travel further afield to Mexico, Cuba and Jamaica. Mexico would have to be my favourite long-haul destination so far.

Where's next on your bucket list? My travel wish list is ever-growing but next up would be Australia, New Zealand, USA and the Maldives.

My top destinations are Canada's Sunshine Coast and Victoria Falls in Zambia.

My dream destination is a South Pacific island-hopping holiday or a trip to Uganda or Rwanda to see the gorillas.

How many years have you worked in the travel industry?

I’ve worked in travel for just over five years. I love hearing about my customer's adventures and helping them with all their travel plans.

Favourite destinations?

My first real travel experience was a trip to the Gambia, and I really caught the travel bug following that trip.

I've been lucky enough to take a motorhome tour of Western Canada where the National Parks are stunning. I also found time to visit two amazing Canadian cities, Toronto and Vancouver.

Where's next on your bucket list?

Canada is my favourite destination and the place I'm most knowledgeable about.

I'm proud to have recently achieved the status of ‘Silver Specialist’ with Tourism New Zealand.

How many years have you worked in the travel industry?

I’ve had the pleasure of working within this diverse and interesting industry since 2001. I love using my travelling experiences to help others plan and have the holiday of a lifetime.

Favourite destinations?

After spending a year working and travelling around New Zealand, this wonderful country has to be one of my all-time favourites.

Additionally, for the stunning scenery and friendliness: Canada. For its beautiful coastline and wildlife: South Africa. Last, but not least, after having worked in Australia, I love its unique rawness of landscape and diversity between what each state and territory offers.

Where's next on your bucket list?

I also have a huge fondness for Latin America and would be equally excited if I was heading to Chile for the scenery or to be close to the wildlife in the Galapagos Islands.

How many years have you worked in the travel industry?

    9 years and counting

    Favourite destinations?

I love travelling to the USA. I’ve been lucky enough to visit 22 states so far and my favourite places were San Francisco for the amazing seafood and architecture, Yosemite for the most amazing scenery and Florida – for the theme parks!

Outside of the USA my favourite places are Dubai for the melting pot of cultures and the guaranteed weather and Thailand for the wonderful food and some of the friendliest people I’ve met

Where's next on your bucket list?

This is a tough one as my list is long, but my top 2 choices would be travelling around New Zealand or an Alaskan cruise.

How many years have you worked in the travel industry?

I have been working in the travel industry on and off since 2009.

    Favourite destinations?

I would say that Iceland has been the most visually stunning and interesting place I have travelled to so far. Unfortunately, we were not able to see the Aurora Borealis however we did have a spectacular view of the Milky Way Galaxy!

The South East Asia region is a very happy memory for me as I travelled around Thailand, Laos and Cambodia for 3 months, taking in as many cultural and historical sites as I could.

Australia would also be up there as I did two separate years on a working holiday visa. This included travelling up and down the East Coast, working on a banana farm for six months and spending a year in Melbourne.

Where's next on your bucket list?

High on my bucket list would be a tour around Costa Rica.

How many years have you worked in the travel industry?

I’ve been working in travel for over 20 years. I enjoy helping our guests get the most out of the fantastic locations they can visit all around the globe.

    Favourite destinations?

I specialise in Southern Africa, USA and New Zealand.

I’ve been fortunate to travel around all three areas on both business and on holiday.

New Zealand has to be my favourite destination, if only for the diversity of the country. It's so easy to travel around, and the scenery changes around every corner. If I can't get to New Zealand, any of the amazing National Parks in Africa would be my alternative.

Where's next on your bucket list?

The temples of Angkor Wat in Cambodia have been on my travel bucket list for many years. I'm also a big cricket fan, so a trip to watch England winning the Ashes in Australia would be a dream come true!
