Phillip Island Penguins

At dusk, view the wonderful phenomenon of the little penguins as they emerge from the surf, returning to the safety of their dune rookeries. From your nearby vantage point you will have the opportunity to watch the penguins feed their young. Enjoy a more personalised viewing of the Penguin Parade from a separate viewing platform and boardwalk which is limited to around 200 people per night. Rangers are on hand to provide interpretation of the world's smallest penguins and their fascinating lives.

At 8.20am join your coach to commence a full day Puffing Billy Steam Train and Wine Country in Style tour. Enroute visit Sherbrooke Forest, home to lyre birds, the crimson rosella, cockatoos and kookaburras. Enjoy morning tea, then ride the restored Puffing Billy Stream Train through the towering mountain ash and beautiful fern gullies of Sherbrooke Forest. Tour through the Yarra Valley and enjoy lunch and wine tasting at a local winery. Tantalize your taste buds at Dominique Portet Winery where you may sample and buy a selection of quality local wines. Enjoy a visit to another local winery to sample more Australian wines, then commence the return journey to Melbourne.

Yarra Valley Flight with Breakfast and Wine Tour

After a short briefing by your pilot, you will be transported to the launch site where you may help prepare for the launch or stand back and take some fabulous photos. Then away you go! Spend a peaceful hour drifting gently over the Yarra Valley at sunrise by hot air balloon. After landing and packing the balloon away, head back to Balgownie Estate for a full buffet champagne breakfast to toast the morning's adventure. After breakfast, you will be dropped at Yering Station where the wine tour will pick you up at 10.45am. You may be dropped earlier than this to enjoy a walk or a rest after your early start. While you are waiting, you can taste wine at Yering Station (open from 10am) OR you can enjoy a coffee next door at Chateau Yering's Sweetwater Cafe (open from 7.30am).
