Join a fun-filled winter excursion to enjoy Alaska's official state sport, dog mushing! Meet real Iditarod racing dogs and ride real racing trails north of Anchorage. Each ride consists of 1-4 riders hooked up to a dog sled team with a local Alaskan musher as your guide. Enjoy the serenity of the Alaskan winter landscape in a way that only a dog sled ride can provide.

This tour is approximately 2 hours long.

Warm winter clothing, hot drinks and snacks are included.

Anchorage Northern Lights Tour

Embark on a journey to view and photograph the Aurora Borealis in and around the greater Anchorage area.

The Aurora Borealis is one of the most amazing natural wonders on earth. Join us on a quest to view and photograph the Northern Lights in and around the greater Anchorage area.

Innovative technology is used to forecast the Aurora viewing conditions and each night’s tour location is chosen to maximise your chances to view the lights. The tour locations are chosen based on the weather forecast, aurora strength, and driving distance from Anchorage. The team of experts will get you to the most strategic location possible to see the Northern Lights.

To ensure customers go out on the best possible night(s) during their visit, there is a valuable industry-exclusive forecasting/insurance service. This service is $20 per person. This non-refundable service fee includes a personalised Aurora forecast each night you are booked and provides you with the opportunity to either: join on favourable nights, reschedule your tour to the next night you have reserved, or cancel your tour on unfavourable nights.

This tour is designed for anyone visiting the Anchorage area that has an interest in viewing the Northern Lights. The tours include web-quality Aurora portraits and basic photography instruction.

This tour departs between 8pm and 11pm and can last anywhere between 5 and 9 hours long depending on the tour destination and aurora forecast.

The services of a professional Alaskan Aurora Guide, the Aurora Forecasting Service, photographs and portraits, Aurora science and education, snacks, drinks, and transport are all included.

Due to ever-changing space and earth weather conditions, we recommend you book for each and every night you have available, beginning with the first night of your visit. This will maximise your chances of viewing success.

Knik Glacier Helicopter Tour with Glacier Landing

Fly over the majestic mountains of the Chugach Range, view beautiful glacial crevasses, moulins, glacier rivers and waterfalls, then land on the Knik Glacier.

Your flight departs from the base at the Knik River Lodge and takes you over the Knik River and glacier, through the Great Gorge towards Whiteout Glacier, Colony Glacier, and the icebergs in Lake George. Land on the Knik glacier and explore with your pilot/guide. You would be very unlucky not to see moose, mountain goats, bands of Dall sheep, and bears can often be seen in the summer.

The tour is approximately 1 hour long including a 30 minute flight and 30 minutes on the glacier.

Spring/Fall Glacier and Wildlife Cruise

Explore the magnificent tidewater glaciers and wildlife of Prince William sound in an intimate setting.

Just a short one hour cruise takes you to the stunning landscape of Blackstone Bay where you can marvel at huge tidewater glaciers, numerous waterfalls, and hanging glaciers in the surrounding mountains. En-route, there’ll be a stop to photo sea otters and harbour seals that make their home in this part of the sound. During the adventure, you’ll have the opportunity to step ashore to experience the natural geology and thick rainforest. Enjoy a snack and hot drink as you reflect on your journey and this magnificent part of Alaska.

This tour is approximately 4 hours long and is available from May to September.
