Heritage Park Historical Village

Heritage Park Historical Village tells the significant and vital story of the settlement of Western Canada and how the unique western landscape formed the cultural foundation of who Western Canadians are today. See and feel the past as it comes to life in front of your eyes. The attractions and exhibits pan Western Canadian history from the 1860’s to the 1950’s. Ride the authentic steam train, make old-fashioned ice cream with the prairie towns folk, explore the First Nations encampment, enjoy the antique midways, savour fresh baked treats from the Alberta bakery, enjoy a horse drawn wagon ride, and set sail on Calgary’s only paddle wheeler. With over 180 exhibits on 127 acres of land, this is Canada’s largest living history museum.
