Capture the historic and natural world of the Queen Charlotte Track in just one day on this glorious hike. Walking through magnificent virgin forest, you'll emerge at a ridgeline to expansive breathtaking views of the Sound, before descending to follow the sheltered shoreline of Endeavour Inlet. Relax at Furneaux Lodge while waiting for your boat pick up.

Mail Boat Cruise

The Beachcomber Mail Boat is the only official licensed New Zealand Post Rural delivery service by water in the Queen Charlotte Sound. Share the excitement of Mail Day as the skipper delivers the mail and groceries to the families that live in the various bays and inlets in the Queen Charlotte Sound. Say hi to the kids waiting on the wharf for their schoolwork or greet the many animals that come down to meet the boat. No route is the same as you explore the far reaches of the sounds, dropping off the mail and post to different bays each day. Tour concludes approximately 4 hours after commencement at London Quay Wharf, Picton.

Marlborough Wine Tour

The 4-5 hour tour will give you a great insight to the Marlborough Wine area. Visiting 4 Cellar Doors you will be tasting a generous amount of wines along the way and have the opportunity to wander in the vines. The morning tour includes a stop for lunch at a winery (at your expense) or you can choose the after afternoon tour visiting four wineries and usually the chocolate factory. There is the opportunituy to purchase a cheese platter or cafe food in the afternoon.

Full Day Biking Wine Tour

This full day guided tour bikes to 5-6 of Marlborough's premium wineries. Ride along country roads, river stop-banks and through vineyards. The tour guide provides commentary throughout the tour on the wines and wineries and also the history and geography of New Zealand's largest wine region. Stop for lunch at one of the winery restaurants (lunch at clients cost).

Greenshell Mussel Cruise

Cruise out into the Pelorus and Kenepuru Sounds and the skipper will explain some of the history of the Marlborough Sounds and the history of the pioneering families who have settled here. Take in the natural beauty and tranquility of the Marlborough Sounds. Then visit a Greenshell Mussel farm where the skipper will explain how mussels are grown and why they grow so well in the Marlborough Sounds. While at the Mussel farm you will get to sample a local favourite - freshly steamed mussels matched to a glass of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
