Itinerary

Begin your journey in the capital of Croatia, Zagreb, one of the oldest cities in Central Europe. Sample traditional cuisine in the renowned restaurants of the old town or enjoy a coffee in amongst classic facades and the stunning Neo-Gothic architecture. With a choice of over almost 100 museums, theatres, galleries & art collections make sure you take the opportunity to soak up the incredible history of this charming capital city.

Enjoy 2 nights at a 4-star hotel in the centre of Zagreb (including transfers).

Distance: 198km (123miles)

Enjoy a 3 night stay at magical alpine resort of Lake Bled located on the edge of the Triglav National Park known for it’s mild climate and thermal springs.

Take a walk around the lake (6km) or enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride. For something a little more challenging take the well worn path to Bled Castle perched on a large rocky outcrop offering spectacular views over the lake & surrounding area. There is plenty of activities to enjoy in this region.

Stretching from the Alps to the Adriatic coast is the picturesque Karst region, with pretty olive groves and thousands of spectacular underground caves. The world famous Postojna and Skocjan caves are well worth a visit. Guided tours by special cave trains take you through extensive rock formations underground.

Your campsite for two nights boasts its own local cave network and is located only 9km from the Predjama Castle.

Located on the heart-shaped peninsula of Istria in the north of Croatia, this is the perfect place to explore the beautiful town of Rovinj with is cobbled streets & the preserved Roman amphitheatre in Pula.

The picturesque town of Rovinj is full of charming, colourful streets & glorious sunsets. You’ll feel like you are in Italy with it’s historical links to the Venetian empire.

Your campsite for the next 4 nights is located about 5km south of Poreč, which can be visited by train or you may like to take a more leisurely trip by local boat. There are a number of exciting excursions available from here including fishing, picnic boat excursions and trips to Venice and Brijuni National Park.

Head south along the Adriatic coast toward Šibenik, the gateway to the Kornati Islands. Your campsite for 4 nights is located directly on the beach and is the ideal location to explore the surrounding area. We recommend a day excursion to the UNESCO World Heritage site and old town of Trogir. A day tour by boat from Skradin into the Krka National Park is a must see where you can enjoy impressive views of the Skradinski buk waterfalls & walk along the boardwalks & trails throughout this spectacular park.

The historic old walled city of Dubrovnik overlooking the Adriatic sea is a UNESCO World Heritage site and at over 2 km long a walk along the city 16th century walls is an absolute must offering spectacular views from the 25m high walls. Once a powerful trading port during medieval times, the stunning architecture, streets & buildings have been preserved to create the original atmosphere of the 7th century.

Our campsite is located on the quiet green peninsula of Babin Kuk, only a 10 minute ride from the historic centre of town, and close to the beach.

The largest city on the Adriatic coast, Split is home to the impressive Diolectian’s Palace (another UNESCO World Heritage site) and is often regarded as one of the most beautiful cities on the Mediterranean where stunning Roman architecture sits amongst the white walls of the city.

The islands of Brac, Hvar, Vis and Korcula, renowned for their lively fishing villages and pristine beaches, are easily accessible by ferry.

Your campsite is located at the convergence of the Adriatic & the Cetina river with a superb rocky backdrop & views of the island of Brac. This is the ideal place to enjoy a range of water sports including surfing & kayaking. The picturesque town of Omis is only 800m from the campsite offering bars, restaurants & shopping.

Time to farewell Croatia today as you head to Zagreb to return your motorhome & transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
